Yes, last year was super special–what they call a superbloom. This year looks good so far, too. But it is sad; because of COVID, the actual state park is closed. There are poppies all around, but no one can go in to the preserve, and this is a time when they make most of their budget.

We have only gone out once so far because of the stay at home, but it is a good year for wildflowers again. We will probably try to make another trek.
