For the final challenge, WP wanted to see an all-time favorite. This small tree growing out of the rock at Lake Tahoe is one of those. Taken with a Kodak point and shoot a few years ago, the mood, color, and form have made it one of my favorite captures.
I love water, but reflections in water is a fascination.
I have been many places and felt at home and purposeful in many of those places; but one thing is for sure, though change comes, I will document it with words and pictures.
Unlikely but lovely to catch a swift flying hummingbird pausing for a drink of lilac juice.
The line after line of windmills dot the rolling hills, and though it makes sense in such a windy place, I would prefer to not have the mesmerizing motion of all those energy makers on the landscape–but that is the key: energy.
Not this year, but it was a great poppy year last year!
